“We don’t have time to write tests.”
“We don’t have time for code reviews.”
“We don’t have time to set up a CI server.”
“We don’t have time to automate deploys.”
“We don’t have time to make it accessible.”
“We don’t have time to reuse, so copy/paste.”
I’ve been on teams where these things were true, but we were “too busy” to talk about it. Dev teams will rarely say such things out loud.
But actions speak louder than words.
