At a certain point (perhaps sooner than you think), becoming more technically competent isn’t going to change the trajectory of your life. You have to change your paradigm. Are you solving the right problems in the first place? At the right layer of abstraction? Are you doing it in public? Are you an effective communicator? Are you a good human? What are you doing to increase your luck surface area? Sure, what you know is important. But it’s what you *do* with what you know is what really matters.
